Admin Dashboard

This page provides easy access to everything needed to setup and manage your membership site.
Follow the steps below to review the steps to customize your site:
Taxonomy Types
  • Membership Access: Use this to apply a Memberpress rule to make the content only visible to the specified users.
  • Page Designs: Controls the design applied to the page
  • Header Styles: Controls the header and footer design applied to the page
  • Resource Type: Used to organize the types of resources. The content displayed on the live calls page is currently set to show any Posts with the “Coaching Calls” resource type. You can change this filter criteria if needed.
  • Linked Content: Used to control what resources are shown on a lesson page. If the lesson page and resource both have the same linked content category assigned then those resources will be displayed on that lesson.
  • Admin Tags: Used to categorize the admin posts which are intended to only be accessible by your internal team members.

The following two taxonomies are optional. Categories and tags can be used to further organize your content for search or filter capabilities if you choose to do so. We are not currently using either of these to control any settings on the membership site so applying Categories or Tags is completely up to you.

  • Categories:  Categories can be used to organize content on the site for search capability.
  • Tags: Tags can be used to organize content on the site for search capability. Tags should be more specific than categories. For example, in my courses I have a category for Technology, and I have Tags for more granular topics, like WordPress, Elementor, and LearnDash.
